A special word from Tina:
On August 10th, during what felt like the shifting of galaxies, a precious baby, a steadfast and beautiful mother, and a smiling and focused father, all were born. It doesn’t come lightly to us the myriad of miracles involved in bringing forth any new soul into the world. The hopes, tears, prayers, and sacrifices that have been and are yet to come, sit with us as we watch the youngest of our own families, Milu and Tim, bring sweet baby Evan into the world. And did he ever come ready. Evan J. Geevarghese entered the world ready to see, everything. If you have the fortune of meeting this beautiful child, it will strike you, that he is already seeking answers. It is as if the things beyond his comprehension (which should be just about everything right now) don’t overwhelm him. Instead, they quietly pique his curiosity, and he listens, looks and goes about putting the puzzle pieces together. Evan, there are endless beautiful puzzles for you to discover in this world, and you have parents that will explore each and every one with you. Welcome to the world, sweet Evan.
Milu and Tim, in the unspoken and steadfast Indian tradition of strength through family, we hope to clear the path for you to do what only parents can do best, provide unconditional love and support to their children. Thank you for making our family bigger, stronger, and infinitely more joyous.

And just like that – we have a new baby boy in the family. Im here for it, Tim and Milu. Here for you two, here for Evan, and here for all the teeny bits of growth along the way. As Tina mentioned, it’s striking how alert, and inquisitive he is. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody like it. It’s hard to guess his personality this early, but all the hints are there…. calm, alert, inquisitive, and so sweet. Sheesh, and he has a dimple! Congrats guys. I’m elated for you two.
